On the white board: Why is it so hard to talk to people about Christ?
Discussion: When we are in contact with people what do we have inside of us to offer. It isn't a great idea or plan to tell that person to talk to the pastor. The great thought in this discussion is: what do we really have at this moment inside of us to give to that other person. There are so many, no matter the sum of one's life: so, so many. One universal answer to this question: our meanings: what does Christ mean to us.
Discussion: This task of talking with other strangers is made easier by the number of meanings one has collected and preserved, ready to use in an instant. It also makes it easier to pray with other members of one's own church. The volume of meanings and the words, even the whole verse they are attached to, just seem to flood one with confidence because when you know the meanings of the thing you are talking about you know what you're talking about. Thus, the more words you know what they mean, the more you know what you are talking about.

On the white board: meanings are also vital in the acquisition of more of the holy spirit.
Discussion: explored the truth that the meaning of a word is the spirit of that word. Also, that the meanings of one's life are what is being shared with others, and "...living letters, known and read by all men..." is what our job is as Christians in this world.

On the white board: What is your favorite word, and why?
Discussion: purpose of this exercise was to graph how many meanings of that word connect to the other classmate's favorite. The hope was to see portray in a randomed and unscripted experiment the secret that all words of God are connected; and further give validity to the maxim: the more words you know what they mean, the more words you can see with....

On the white board: What's in your wallet?
Discussion: what does this sentence mean? The word what we all kinda know what that means; the word in, we know that too, and the word your...but what does the word wallet mean: when was the word invented and what is its history? Did Judas have one?
Discussion: What do you think I mean by wallet for this session? What could it mean by Christ if He were to ask or inquire?
Discussion: "Bible", "Stronghold", "the verse that speaks about Christians being living letters known and read by all men." We then refined all this down into one thing: the inner man. The place and object that God died for. This is what really matters to humans, and to God. What is in this 'wallet' of ours, what we choose to put it certainly has range: it can be very good, or even very bad. So then we went on to define what kinds of things are in this 'wallet': Credit 'card', sorta, words, character, memories, faith, character.
Discussion: The discussion lead us back to the statement that we Christians should fill up the whole heart with the words of God. What do these words do in us? What goes on when 'reason' is done in the Christian? What is math's act in the inner man and how what we have in our wallet matters to those whom we witness to. There is truth to the phrase about Christ: having somewhat to offer.
* * * *
“Fill the whole heart with the words of God. They are the living water, quenching your burning thirst. They are the living bread from heaven. Jesus declares, "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." [JOHN 6:53.] And he explains himself by saying, "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." [JOHN 6:63.] Our bodies are built up from what we eat and drink; and as in the natural economy, so in the spiritual economy, it is what we meditate upon that will give tone and strength to our spiritual nature.” {CE 57.1, Book: Christian Education.}
“The word of God is the seed. Every seed has in itself a germinating principle. In it the life of the plant is enfolded. So there is life in God's word. Christ says, "The words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life." John 6:63. "He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life." John 5:24. In every command and in every promise of the word of God is the power, the very life of God, by which the command may be fulfilled and the promise realized. He who by faith receives the word is receiving the very life and character of God.” {COL 38.1}
“As we thus contemplate heavenly themes, our faith and love will grow stronger, and our prayers will be more and more acceptable to God, because they will be more and more mixed with faith and love. They will be intelligent and fervent. There will be more constant confidence in Jesus, and a daily, living experience in his power to save to the utmost all that come unto God by him.” {CE 57.2}
As we meditate upon the perfections of the Saviour, we shall desire to be wholly transformed, and renewed in the image of his purity. There will be a hungering and thirsting of soul to become like him whom we adore. The more our thoughts are upon Christ, the more we shall speak of him to others, and represent him to the world. {CE 57.3}

On the white board: "Using the meanings of a word, open your bible to a passage that you know very little about and 'vet' a verse. The intent of the exercise is to begin an understanding of the thought: all the books of the bible meet and end in the book of revelation. The other books of the bible are made up of words, so it was easy to see and follow how this thought is true. The class has been testing this thought for several sessions.
Class No. 24 - Mar 4th Class
Open Discussion/ Test: On the white board: "Choose one word that reminds you most of Christ." One student chose the name of her sister. From that one word we found many other words that were connected to the name, and then discussed our way back to how it is connected to Christ from the student's perspective at this time. The enjoyable discoveries which followed filled most of the two hours used.
The test revolved around the use of the two main reference books: The online-etymology dictionary and the Biblehub.com. The students used the techniques learned so far to explore the values gained from the meanings of one word. And more importanly how almost every word somehow leads in an energetic way back to Christ.

Class No. 23 - Feb 25th Class
Discussion: There is no 'if' in our day. God has already told us that He wants every christian to be a preacher, teacher, parent (Paul who was not married had children in the Lord), mentor in the highest training and meaning of the word, and this want because we are at the highest hour of any kind in the history of the age of mankind. He requires us to all be both students and professors, both kings and priests.
Discussion: when one changes the meanings of their words in their family, they change others who live in that family. Also, changing the frequency of the use of certain words; especially if the hearer already has heard those words a thousand time from one.
Exploration: How easily (if all-be-it somewhat long) to teach someone whom you have known for many years, the things that God has told you the meanings of. During next class: How to tell other's what Jesus means to you.
The Spirit bloweth where it listeth, but so do the meanings of words. When words are heard and brought into the middle of the mind, meanings happen. The Spirit's job is to develop fruit; words of God develop fruit as well. These fruit of the spirit is dressed and kept preserved in the inner man. In the inner man is one's spirit; words and their meanings are quite at home there as a normal course of physiology. Even there, words, meanings and the Holy Spirit bloweth where it listeth. (So scientist, like Nicodemas, are still finding out the truth of these words.)

Four Things, We Who Have Young, Must Prepare Our Children For In The Loud Cry
1.The Loud Cry
2.Demoniac Spiritualism accelerated to the millionth level
3.The out-pouring of the Latter Rain
4.The death of possibly 2.3 billion humans (how to bury that number; Covid cremations example)
If these are in our ‘old’ future, they certainly are greatly possible in our children’s 'young' future. If we live to the beginning of these events we will be 'old'; if your young live to the start of these events, they will be 'young'.
Several illustrations on how knowing the meanings of words prepares one for these events.

On the white board: ION Question:
What does the mind taste: addresses or meanings?...
When something is meaningful… is it equivalent to saying it is full of meanings.
When we ‘fill up the mind with the words of God’, what are we filling it with… addresses or meanings.
The mind of man was made in the image of God’s mind. So, what is the job of these minds in the universe? To be Chief expositors of the image of God.
Then if chief expositors: what will mankind reveal…the addresses of God or the meanings of God? (Ed. , page 15: “God created man in His own image” (Genesis 1:27), and it was His
purpose that the longer man lived the more fully he should reveal this image—the more fully reflect the glory of the Creator.”)

Do we draw life from the address of the bread—the shape, color, kind of bread, or do we break down the nutrients, and ‘spiritual’ things inside the bread-house. Teaching by Adding a Dimension
The building material of a mentor is that data and techniques, which when added to the mentee’s inner knowledge, adds a dimension to the mentee enabling them to make useful projections and real time Apps (applications). It is the many addings of these dimensions that eventually signal fortitude and maturity in the relationship, as well as in the mentee. The relationship is the viable environment in which the mentee will grow; the longer the life of the mature relationship, the more extensive the breadth of the growth.
If the relationship is growing, if the mentor-mentee are constructing newer items in and around that relationship, this gives evidence that the ‘gerund of teachings’ is really working. This relationship is also where the heaviness of word-learning makes the learner heavier inside. When word-learning produces broader thought processes, a belief in one’s self deepens and it is this habit of measuring which produces a proud glittering city. And once dimensionally stretched, or self enlarged, the soul-who that is doing all the work inside, is never the same.
Draw a Line.
_______________________________________________________________
(This line represents relationship: the Mentor-Mentee relationship, or even the parent-child relationship.)
Above the line is found what the educator/parent knows; below the line is what the child knows. Obviously, the educator side will have more things in it.
Adding a dimension: the secret is to add something to the relationship which the student does/may not know. (does/may not know because: in our above illustration both white spaces immediately next to the relationship line are empty; at the beginning of a relationship there is nothing there, for neither participant has communicated.) Until someone says a teaching, fires a shot or reads a sealed document, neither party can see any puff of words.
You may not be able to see much of what is in the mentee’s life, but what you can see clearly, don’t enunciate that; rather do two things, either tell something that has been held secret about that thing, or tell something entirely new about an extension of that item which the mentee is unaware. Even if you know how the clearly known and the secret are related, never say the relational—just limelight the something-new with fanfare: the mentee will do the math and connect the hotspots for themselves—if they want the relationship to continue, and if they want more good stuff.
So what will be happening is: words from one side of the relationship line that were new will attach to the relationship line; the mentee thinks about the words, prompted by regard for the relationship established, responds from their side of the relationship and a circle forms on the relationship line. Both sides contribute to the circle; verbalized or not, body languaged or not, the circle has been formed. And it is that circle that can and usually sings on the relationship line for as long as the living memory can last. Something old has met something new and becomes something of value to both parties.
[also will be true that words from the mentee side will generate circles when they ‘open up’, so to speak, and the mentor connects with these words—whether the mentor espresses so or not. ]
Illustrated:
We all know how briefly the moment is in which we have the novice in front of us, captive for mere seconds to encourage, reprimand, interrogate, etc. Use the time well by introducing something new, but related, to something they know or love. The task here is to excite them, as probably never before, about life during that small time. If possible, try to do this each and every time they are standing in front of you. It is obvious that this is not a small task, but the mentor must become that military advisor especially if they are not so at the beginning of the relationship. It is essential that this distinction of rank of the military advisor should show up at some point; best if it exists somewhat at the beginning of the relationship.
You can also see that adding a dimension, as described above, doesn’t--and usually shouldn’t--take but a moment. It really should be quick and lively, and not boring and long. If one is successful even once a day bringing a light onto a young face, that frequency should be enough to sustain the relationship. Even class-action reprimands, encouragements, etc can also apply here: think of how many circles of connections can be formed by standing daily at the front of the class in a 180 days instructional cycle.
This growth, this success, is what a mentoring agency wants their audience/clients to finally see: valid, demonstrative change in the mentee. You will not see this level of success without progressive change/growth in the mentoring relationship. To illustrate this: it’s like any chemical or physics reaction, things that matter jiggle their way from, say, deserted shifting sand to business buildings at Las Vegas; or, from an urban perspective, like youth wandering aimlessly, desiring ‘nothing’, and living along with the comparative emptiness of repetitive motions, jiggling themselves finally into the proud display of the glittering gold certificate of maturation. For us who will give back to our relations, we will see these cities of gold light up in once foreboding places.

Thoughts on why we shouldn’t read the bible through from ‘cover to cover’
"One may read the whole Bible through, and yet fail to see its beauty or comprehend its deep and hidden meaning. One passage studied until its significance is clear to the mind, and its relation to the plan of salvation is evident, is of more value than the perusal of many chapters with no definite purpose in view and no positive instruction gained. Keep your Bible with you. As you have opportunity, read it; fix the texts in your memory. Even while you are walking the streets, you may read a passage, and meditate upon it, thus fixing it in the mind. {CE 58.2}
"Fill the whole heart with the words of God. They are the living water, quenching your burning thirst. They are the living bread from heaven. Jesus declares, “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.” [JOHN 6:53.] And he explains himself by saying, “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” [JOHN 6:63.] Our bodies are built up from what we eat and drink; and as in the natural economy, so in the spiritual economy, it is what we meditate upon that will give tone and strength to our spiritual nature." {CE 56.3}
“It is proper and right to read the Bible; but your duty does not end there; for you are to search its pages for yourselves. The knowledge of God is not to be gained without mental effort, without prayer for wisdom in order that you may separate from the pure grain of truth the chaff with which men and Satan have misrepresented the doctrines of truth. Satan and his confederacy of human agents have endeavored to mix the chaff of error with the wheat of truth. We should diligently search for the hidden treasure, and seek wisdom from heaven in order to separate human inventions from the divine commands. The Holy Spirit will aid the seeker for great and precious truths which relate to the plan of redemption. I would impress upon all the fact that a casual reading of the Scriptures is not enough. We must search, and this means the doing of all the word implies. As the miner eagerly explores the earth to discover its veins of gold, so you are to explore the word of God for the hidden treasure that Satan has so long sought to hide from man.” Review and Herald, September 11, 1894.

ION Question: Who Enfolds, Wraps and entangles (think, arrangement in John 3:16); how do meanings get inside the word (house). Does enfold, etc., encompass the address outside the house or the contents of the house. And why does He enfold…why doesn’t he just put it on the outside.
imply (v.)
late 14c., implien, emplien "to enfold, enwrap, entangle" (the classical Latin sense), from Old French emplier, from Latin implicare "involve, enfold, entangle," from assimilated form of in- "into, in, on, upon" (from PIE root *en "in") + plicare "to fold" (from PIE root *plek- "to plait").
Meaning "to involve something unstated as a logical consequence" first recorded c. 1400; that of "to hint at" is from 1580s. Related: Implied; implying. The distinction between imply and infer is in "What do you imply by that remark?" but, "What am I to infer from that remark?" Or, as Century Dictionary puts it, "An action implies ability or preparation, but involves consequences
"One may read the whole Bible through, and yet fail to see its beauty or comprehend its deep and hidden meaning. One passage studied until its significance is clear to the mind, and its relation to the plan of salvation is evident, is of more value than the perusal of many chapters with no definite purpose in view and no positive instruction gained. Keep your Bible with you. As you have opportunity, read it; fix the texts in your memory. Even while you are walking the streets, you may read a passage, and meditate upon it, thus fixing it in the mind. {CE 58.2}
"Fill the whole heart with the words of God. They are the living water, quenching your burning thirst. They are the living bread from heaven. Jesus declares, “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.” [JOHN 6:53.] And he explains himself by saying, “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” [JOHN 6:63.] Our bodies are built up from what we eat and drink; and as in the natural economy, so in the spiritual economy, it is what we meditate upon that will give tone and strength to our spiritual nature." {CE 56.3}
A Secret: Looking Ahead.
From the very beginning, yes, even before the beginning of Genesis, God started the age-old important plan of the secret to a good life: looking ahead. Today we call it Getting Ready, but it has always been one of the great ordinances of God.
Greatly blessed are we when we love looking ahead. What are some of these blessings?
Adam and Eve had faith; this faith was meant to increase. Looking ahead is what increases our faith....
Look= 2400 idoú (a demonstrative particle, used chiefly in the LXX for hinnēh; "properly, the imperative, the aorist middle of eidon/horáō, to see," Abbott-Smith, BAGD) – behold, which especially calls attention to what follows from it
Eidos= (again, that 'video' that I spoke about many years ago; watching this video is a must for every human.)
Luke 13:35: ‘Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.” (several looking aheads in just one verse.)

Other secrets: later, if you will
Secret of how to win back your children....
The secret of choice and the quickest way to succor your own need... choice= (remember whenever you see a word in bold with an equal sign, it means you need to look up this word for yourself using the two best class- books we gave during the first lesson)
The secret of feelings....
The secret of becoming a writer...a must for every Christian...
The secret words to avoid when speaking to people you would win to Church....

Get Ready! Get ready! Get ready!
The more meanings you know what they mean, the more meanings you see with. The more meanings you have in your life, the more meanings you will use when you look at the Book of Revelation, or other hard prophecies and promises. Then you will be able to recognize them as they get closer in time, and you’ll be able to understand them more clearly. Just as illustrated by our first quiz (and if you were not there, it will be a little difficult for you to follow this next): if you knew what the words meant, then you could understand that Scientific Abstract that was offered to be read. Most of the words in that quiz abstract were words that we were familiar with is far as how to spell them—that is their address and how to pronounce them. This we discussed as the shape given to the ‘house’ at that address. This little secret of the more words you know… is The foundational secret of this class, and should be used at all times and in every way possible in which it can be used. This secret will benefit the life in more than a hundred ways.
Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! is foundationally linked to prophecy. If one loves prophecy, they will love Getting Ready. When one understands a prophecy or hears a prophecy related to our future, the first thing that they ask themselves is, 'am I ready for the things in this prophecy?'
And as time goes along, after knowing the prophecy or promise, what should be seen going on between the individual and the prophecy itself: fervent activity, especially if the detail in the prophecy even remotely appears to be immediate. So as we see these details coming closer, we should see a shift (think car to 60 in seconds) in the order of things in our lives —and our choices as well, even toward how we spend our personal time each day.

The Fervency Of The Follow
Phil 3:12: Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. (Matt. 24:25 ‘Behold, I have told you before.’i.e. Prophecy)
1 Cor 9:24 ‘Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.’
2 Tim 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’
Hosea 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
1 Cor 14:1 “Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.’
Follow after= pursue
Desire= earnestly desire, jealous, boiling over hotly
Follow on (to know the Lord)= to pursue, chase, persecute
Study= Spoude: to use speed (i.e. get your PhD in 2 years instead of 8 years)
Follow= Pursue
Apprehended= I seize tight hold of, arrest, catch, capture, appropriate, (b) I overtake
Pursue= (follow above) as if to overtake
Run all= with all one has
Christ is, for all meanings, the sum total of all prophecy. He is this ‘last Prophet’ and the Word speaking to us from God the Father. He has pursued us as if to overtake and has seized us, as Paul is saying in Phil 3:12. So Paul pursues Christ with the same amount of fervency. Paul is pursuing prophecy.
Also, Christ knew He only had these 12 for only 3 ½ years. Therefore He energetically packed it with hundreds of thousands of activities: from quick and complex miracles such as the repairing of an entire new arm, and even to putting out extra energy expended in all night prayer for the next day’s new hundreds of miracles—for the time was short. He made haste; He followed His Father with fervency. In all of these examples, we can see the fervency of the follow.

Ancient Meanings
(Ancient words ever true, changing me changing you. Their meanings will lead us home.)
The more meanings you know what they mean the more walking with God you can do. These meanings that you gather will impart life and these words that you speak later will give spirit and life to others. And as the text in John five says it is the spirit that works and does things, but the flesh profits nothing.(‘It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.’ John 6:63)
The Secret: The more meanings you know what they mean, the more steps you have taken in your walk with the Lord. These meanings and the principles of these meanings make up the foundation of God’s throne.[See below the quote from last Sabbath school lesson, DA, page 22]
Each meaning you learn is like one more step you have added in your walk with God. Meanings therefore build up one’s personal PhD, so to speak, for as we all are aware advanced learning is all about obtaining a deeper knowledge of things.
For the last ten years I have counseled my ninth graders after they told me that they wanted to become a mechanical engineer, or a scientist, or psychologist, or doctor, or nurse, or surgeon. At that time this was usually only after they had been in High School for a week or two. That was when I would bring out my request that as soon as possible that they start learning the 75,000 new words that belonged to the field that they were interested in. I would admonish them that the sooner they started learning what these words meant, the easier their first second and fifth week in University would be. They would have more confidence in their step, so to speak, and those meanings they had been able to memorize and use during their less pressured years of HS, would serve them quite well during their new, more busied life of higher education.
Each meaning you learn makes your walk a meaningful 'travel of steps', here we come back to that authoritative title: Steps to Christ.

God gives us Legos and tells us to build An Edifice
God gives us Legos and tells us to build an edifice inside our one-self, and inside our under-aged children...in other words: be mind for ourselves and be mind for our young… All while having the mind of Christ. And nothing builds faster than words and their meanings…nothing.
In the beginning God gave Adam and Eve legos and told them to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth….build edifices…
The edifices they built were living ones: children and grandchildren so that when they finally died, the total number of edifices built from their seed is estimated at well over 8 billion (some calculate that it was over 100 billion. My own extrapolations work toward something like their number.)
God came down in the cool of the day and taught them more words, gave them more of himself, His meanings…and it was their highest enjoyment….
Often when people who see our good works—what we do with our Legos—they will glorify God, and in that instant of doing so, have a momentary relationship with
God...how may we keep alive that spark our good has started? We can help by being ready to add a dimension during the next opportunity.
The Secret: Adding a dimension.
Application: First make sure we are or have somewhat to offer, that we have added a dimension to ourselves (fold, attach, apply). Make sure we are converted, built up inside….
In every sermon we give with our lives, may the meanings of words be ever prominent, for ‘like the flesh’ the spelling and sound of the verses quote profit little (John 6:63 – ‘It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.’)
When we say something hurtful or devilish to someone, we detract, subtract, divide or multiplies zeds (make less than zero) from the gospel of God.
When we see them struggling, add a dimension. When we see what their talents have built with ‘their’ Legos, add a dimension by deft leading. (Don’t just say, Awesome.) Even we could build an edifice before they come home with papers from their school activities, or, when they get into their ‘social years’, they come home with questions and thoughts about ‘a boy…’.
Deft= deft (adj.)
"apt or dexterous, subtly clever or skillful," "mild, gentle, simple, meek," "to be fit," [perfect] Old Norse dafna "to grow strong," Dutch deftig "important, relevant,"
Be mind for your child (lead) or others, Mentee, etc…then you must or would want to be deft if their life is at stake…and the more as we see the evilness of the plagues approaching. One who acts erratic are they leading well, leading wisely, leading deftly.
“The mother must be mind for her child. The first three
years is the time in which to bend the tiny twig.” --Child Guidance, 150
Leading= lead (v.1)
"to guide," "cause to go with oneself; march at the head of, go before as a guide, accompany and show the way; carry on; sprout forth, bring forth”
The fruits of the spirit are also Legos wondered at; they are sure edifices built by the spirit of God; they are the meanings, His teachings, His Truth: his words are meanings and life...’by my spirit’ sayeth the Lord. Not by our meanings. We grow, just as a baby, who at first is all Id during the first months of life, and this is built up by our ‘mind for him.’ Because of our meanings, they thrive very quickly and by three years old they speak many, many words and know what they mean.…
Quote: “The mother must be mind for her child. The first three years is the time in which to bend the tiny twig. Mothers should understand the importance attaching to this period. It is then that the foundation is laid.”
—Child Guidance, page 151

Having A Relationship With God Adds To Us
A Whole Eternity Of Dimensions
God as etymological dictionary that ads dimensions to us...rely on Him, for He is that inheritance which adds a whole eternity of dimensions to us...having a relationship with him changes everything we now are...
And most of us who have wasted more than a half century of growth will want this growth to be quick.
The meanings and words that we obtain from husband, pastors, mentors, etc. are very small, momentary learnings, as it were, but God's dictionary can teach us in one moment more than all the great men of earth because He has the power to be with us 24, while we only get fractional educational time from our earthly men of knowledge.
Only here, in our three score and ten, are we given a power akin to the creator, only here are we required to add a dimension to everything in our domain and build edifices for eternity. What are we waiting for?

"to guide," Old English lædan (transitive) "cause to go with oneself; march at the head of, go before as a guide, accompany and show the way; carry on; sprout forth, bring forth; pass (one's life)," causative of liðan "to travel," from Proto-Germanic *laidjanan (source also of Old Saxon lithan, Old Norse liða "to go," Old High German ga-lidan "to travel," Gothic ga-leiþan "to go"), from PIE *leit- (2) "to go forth."
deft (adj.)
"apt or dexterous, subtly clever or skillful," mid-15c., from Old English gedæfte, which meant "mild, gentle, simple, meek," but which splintered into different forms and senses in Middle English, yielding this word and also daft (q.v.). In Middle English it also could mean "well-mannered, gentle, modest, mild," and "dull, uncouth, boorish." Cognate with Gothic gadaban "to be fit," Old Norse dafna "to grow strong," Dutch deftig "important, relevant," from Proto-Germanic *dab-, which has no certain IE etymology and is perhaps a substratum word. Related: Deftness.
Be mind for your child (lead) or others, Mentee, etc…then you must or would want to be deft for their life is at stake…and the more as we see the evilness of the plagues approaching. One who acts erratic does not lead well. Lead wisely, lead deftly.

(For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.)
Mind=
3563 noús (a masculine noun) – the God-given capacity of each person to think (reason); the mind; mental capacity to exercise reflective thinking. For the believer, 3563 (noús) is the organ of receiving God's thoughts, through faith.
Ro 12:2,3: "2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (3563 /ólynthos), so that you may prove what the will (2307 /thélēma) of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. 3For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith (4102 /pístis)" (NASU).
2. a particular mode of thinking and judging: Romans 14:5; 1 Corinthians 1:10; equivalent to thoughts, feelings, purposes: τοῦ κυρίου (from Isaiah 40:13), Romans 11:34; 1 Corinthians 2:16a; equivalent to desires, τῆς σαρκός, Colossians 2:18 (cf. Meyer at the passage).
Have=
opportunities, benefits, advantages, conveniences, which one enjoys or can make use of: βάθος γῆς, Matthew 13:5; γῆν πολλήν, Mark 4:5; ἰκμάδα, Luke 8:6; καιρόν, Galatians 6:10; Hebrews 11:15; Revelation 12:12; ἐξουσίαν, see ἐξουσία, passim; εἰρήνην διά τίνος, Romans 5:1 (where we must read ἔχομεν, not (with T Tr WH L marginal reading (cf.

“Fill the whole heart with the words of God. They are the living water, quenching your burning thirst. They are the living bread from heaven. Jesus declares, "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." [JOHN 6:53.] And he explains himself by saying, "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." [JOHN 6:63.] Our bodies are built up from what we eat and drink; and as in the natural economy, so in the spiritual economy, it is what we meditate upon that will give tone and strength to our spiritual nature.” {CE 57.1, Book: Christian Education.}
“The word of God is the seed. Every seed has in itself a germinating principle. In it the life of the plant is enfolded. So there is life in God's word. Christ says, "The words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life." John 6:63. "He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life." John 5:24. In every command and in every promise of the word of God is the power, the very life of God, by which the command may be fulfilled and the promise realized. He who by faith receives the word is receiving the very life and character of God.” {COL 38.1}

spoudázō – properly, be swift (go fast, be speedy); (figuratively) to move speedily by showing full diligence (fully applying oneself); acting fervently (speedy commitment) to accomplish all that God assigns through faith ("His inbirthed persuasion"). Accordingly, 4704 (spoudázō) and faith (4102 /pístis) are directly linked (see Eph 4:3-5; 2 Tim 4:7-9). See 4710 (spoudē).
Ashamed=
422 anepaísxyntos (from 1 /A "not" and 1870/epaisxynomai, "ashamed") – properly, not ashamed, because having discharged needed responsibility which appropriately accomplishes what God assigns
422/anepaisxyntos ("not disgraced"), used only in 2 Tim 2:15, refers to the (positive) result of being a good interpreter of Scripture.
[422 (anepaísxyntos) is a rare word and "very seldom occurs in the ancient world. It does not appear in classical Greek at all" (CBL).]

Rightly Dividing=
To make straight and smooth; i. e. to teach the truth correctly and directly, 2 Timothy 2:15;
orthotoméō(from temnō, "to cut" and 3717 /orthós, "straight") – properly, cut straight (on a straight line), i.e. "rightly divide" (correctly apportion).
If time is short should we go directly to the meanings of words, verses and other passages. ‘…And the more as we see the day approaching.’
Can A Laodicean Hasten?
Can a Laodicean make haste if they are wretched=sick. Can they present themselves to the High Priest in Heaven and be approved, ready for work if they are mentally ill= miserable. Can they be ashamed if they present and are naked? Can they cut a straight path, can they take a student or son or daughter directly to somewhere if they are blind?
Underscoring what the Pastor has been saying:
Additionally, can a Laodicean read, hear, and keep the words of Revelation (Revelation 1:3) if they are sickly, mentally homeless, poor, blind and naked. We must hasten to make our changes by filling up the whole heart with the meanings of the words of God.
Also, I would here like to underscore what the Pastor was saying about happiness: if they cannot/do not read, hear, or keep these words, can they be happy, or blessed?

To Think And To Do
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Phil 4:8 -13
(Biblehub.com):
Think= reckon, count, reason, charge (In class we said: Math)
True= (In class I said: straight to the target, accurate. Not as good as following) what can't be hidden, undeniable reality, fact
Honest= weighty, deeply respected because viewed as majestic (having "gravity"); grave.
Just= approved by God
Pure= holy
Lovely= worthy of personal affection; hence, dearly prized
Good Report= laudable, reputable.
Virtue= moral excellence
Praise= enthusiastic acknowledgment for what deserves praise.
Peace= completeness of God (here)
Content= (remember, when blank here, you are expected to look these up for yourself: homework)

Think On These Things= In class we said: do the math on these things; know them deeply.)
Do= Those things Paul had taught them and that they had received them, he exhorts that they do them. By doing/desiring to attain them, we gain the Peace of God (He taught them how to honor Christ, the real accurate gospel, the one person approved by God—his Son, holiness, those things that should be dearly prized, the reputation of Jesus Christ—having his testimony; what people have heard about his many miracles, etc. , moral excellence, zeal for God.)
I Can Do= our honesty, our trueness, our purity, our loveliness (in Christ), our reputations, our moral excellence (in Christ) and our zeal are those things which we are asked to do.
In class we discussed how these things are the hardest things we struggle with to do. We compared learning to fly a Boeing jet as being so much easier than our present struggle to learn to be 90% honest, or consistently zealous, etc. Developing the above character attributes will be/is the hardest things we will do, (even as monumental as us trying to move a mountain from one place to another) but through Christ, we can do them.
So conclusion: To think, and do are the major words in this bible passage, and they are much bigger than we first thought. These two major things are connected to our character, to our individuality, and they are Godly attributes which God has given man at creation.
“Every human being, created in the image of God, is endowed with a power akin to that of the Creator—individuality, power to think and to do. The men in whom this power is developed are the men who bear responsibilities, who are leaders in enterprises, and who influence character.”—Education, 17 (1903)

The Words of God Are the Wellsprings Of Life
Once again: meanings, meanings, meanings.
Once again: meanings, meanings, meanings.
The words of God are the wellsprings of life. As you seek unto those living springs you will, through the Holy Spirit, be brought into communion with Christ. Familiar truths will present themselves to your mind in a new aspect, texts of Scripture will burst upon you with a new meaning as a flash of light, you will see the relation of other truths to the work of redemption, and you will know that Christ is leading you, a divine Teacher is at your side. An Illustration of Meanings
“We should be much in secret prayer. Christ is the vine, ye are the branches.
And if we would grow and flourish, we must continually draw sap and
nourishment from the Living Vine; for separated from the Vine we have no
strength.” EW 73.1
The Secret: Prayer connects us to the Vine.
Prayer uses words; words have meaning or spirit at their centers: what makes them go.
The maxim: the more meanings you know what they mean, the more growth you are.
The Vine and the branches are the relationship.
Sap is the meanings of the words—what nourishes us.
Separated from the vine we have no meanings, no strength, no growth.

Questions and notes of the class
Re-iterating the purpose of the Class of Secrets: we talked again about the importance of applying the meanings one learns to their life first before sharing or using them on others; making them a habit in one's life first gives them more force and believability when given to others. Also, personal application builds a good relationship with God so strongly that one will not easily leave the Church. Remembering that people always leave the Church long before they leave the Church.
Examples: Judas, Lucifer, Cain….

The Meanings In A Bird's Song
The House Wren’s Song has 12-16 syllables (or notes) within. We hear only a screech, a trill, a churr, a scold, a chatter, or a rattle. The marvelous thing we explored in class was how similar words and their meanings are to these bird songs.
It was noted how slightly differing ‘sounds’ seem to come out of a word as we study the meanings of words and how these meanings broaden our understanding of what we thought we knew.
Even when we look up a word in a thesaurus we can see something similar going on there as well. Often we learn from these collections that a word has twin brethren, or even numerous almost identical twins, triplets or even octuplets. Just to think the wonders of creation where one word from God held many multiple of meanings. Does that creative framework still exist today?
When Christ said a word (usual biblical definition: a single word, a sentence or an entire speech), it started many multiples of meanings into play and the crippled child before Him had, within seconds, a new complete arm with DNA, blood and sinew.
So we can see that the meaning of a word in scripture has much power, much spirit, and so much of the complexity of our God. It truly is an awesome study in which we can gain some of the ‘best answers’ for our neighbor. Also, because these ‘best answers’ are usually divorced from the usual themes of politics, there is less to argue over.

"Why do you say this class is particularly focused on our youth..." Because of what is coming toward them, especially those who want to marry and the grave difficulties that could have for them. Also, we should be alarmed when we just think back on the past 50 years; thinking about what has befallen the youth of today because of what parents, grandparents, and Pharma did to them through the third and fourth generation mandate…More than ever we must be about giving the 'best answers' for the eternal lives of people under our charge are every moment at stake.

Review:
Secret= something you didn’t know before because it was hidden, and/or something you did not know was related to something you already knew.
* * *
That’s it!…is that all you’ve got is a pronunciation of the words and where they can be found in the Bible…it is interesting to revisit the scene in which Christ and the Sanhedrin, etc. were discussing theology and were told by Him that they had spent years of studying how to exactly pronounce each word perfectly, but when questioned by Christ about their understanding of the meanings of the words, they didn't know what He was talking about. Knowing the meanings of the words of the Bible becomes very important when we must define, teach, reach, or lead others into a saving, loving relationship with God.

Reviewed again why one might start with Etymology online, but also continue vetting words through use of something like Biblehub.Com….

"If I have lived at all..." A great many of us have been on this planet for 70 plus years, after living that long time, we should have somewhat to offer. This is what God wants…us to be always increasing…I personally don’t want to die with all these secrets still in my skull…and yet, they are not my secrets—they're just plainly what is already out there to see. Again: what is a secret= something you didn't know...or something you did not know was related to something you already knew.
* * *
The more more meanings of words you know, the more meanings you will see with… You will see more accurately what is coming…and the more accurate your meanings are (and one cannot get a more accurate group of facts and faith than from the Bible), the more quickly you can recognize what is coming and get out of the way.

On The White Board:
"The search for truth will reward the seeker at every turn, and each discovery will open up richer fields for his investigation. Men are changed in accordance with what they contemplate. If commonplace thoughts and affairs take up the attention, the man will be commonplace. If he is too negligent to obtain anything but a superficial understanding of God's truth, he will not receive the rich blessings that God would be pleased to bestow upon him. It is a law of the mind, that it will narrow or expand to the dimensions of the things with which it becomes familiar. The mental powers will surely become contracted, and will lose their ability to grasp the deep meanings of the word of God, unless they are put vigorously and persistently to the task of searching for truth. The mind will enlarge, if it is employed in tracing out the relation of the subjects of the Bible, comparing scripture with scripture, and spiritual things with spiritual. Go below the surface; the richest treasures of thought are waiting for the skillful and diligent student. –Education, Page 105

The Secret: Questions are more important than answers; both are married in a loving way. Questions are intensely tied to the love of God.
Application – folding this idea of questioning into one’s life: When you develop the art of asking questions, when you improve the meanings in your questions, those who you have charge over are blessed (happy). They will love you more.

(Tell me an answer, any answer:)
First student: *%^$#, I don’t know…(almost instantaneously)
Second student: (after several seconds) I’m left handed…
Third student: (Instantly: cheating because they were third in line) Grant.
Why is it so hard to give an answer out of the ‘blue’? Because there was no question first. Had we asked each other to tell a question, everyone would have instantly given one, maybe even ten off the top of the mind. This illustrates the prominence of questions and there is a place in which it should hold in mentoring, teaching, etc. It is so much easier to lead with a question—We already know this. But do we know that this thing of questioning is related vitally to the love of God? And to the love of Humanity?

A Moment to Ask Questions Was Past
I was sitting out in the Spring recently, when a young student who I work with came up to me and said, “You were right. I should have asked more questions about my father’s fathers. Now it is too late, for he has died.”
He stood over in the sun’s path looking like an apparition with auras of light behind him; for he had not learned to move to the side to ease the comfort in old men.
I said, “Sit down and let me reverence this moment with you.”
He did; and we just sat there.

Class No. 2 - August 13th Class
The Secret: Reading, Writing and Math are interrelated and one cannot do either without doing the other two.
Application: When applied to self first, one sees how much they love reading and perhaps why it is easy for them to perform. When later applied to their charges, one can 'read' how to help that individual. As briefly explained in the 30 minutes class, if a charge or employee does not 'read' well, then the one helping will consider that into their instructions, etc. Also, when this secret is applied to the parent, teacher, etc. first, the teacher may use this secret to 'read' the charge and then choose words that have benefit: words that make happiness.
The important aspect of the secret is that one who is mentor, supervisor, etc. must become good at reading. For as the secret is explained below, reading is linked to writing and mathing. When one is improved, the other two are also improved. When all are brought higher, the teacher, etc. makes less mistakes with their charges. (an acquaintance is not a charge, also a person met on the bus is also not a charge.)

The Secret More Fully Explained
The Front Three
We all fail at life—all equals being at ‘play’—when we fail at performing essential words. And like the ‘front four’ in football (Think, Chicago Bears), there are three most essential words in the lineup to guard and rush for knowledge: (you may test them for their essentiality, if you really think you must.)
Reading, Writing, and Mathing.
When we fail at reading,
we fail at measuring.
When we fail at mathing,
we fail also at measuring.
When we fail at writing (conversing),
we again fail at measuring.
In the above representation, I have placed measuring as the key aspect of these front three. Therefore, I think it is most important for a person to develop a math skill level which is equal to the task which they are trying to accomplish during their day, their week, or any and all of their upcoming futures. This book will describe some of the deep places where this math resides, and describe where those of us who are at the heart of the educational society, have failed in adequately coordinating with our young that math is to be highly prized in everything we seek to be as humans.
Math Lanes
Wherever we are going in life, and no matter what we have chosen to do along the way, we need to make a habit of mapping out those trips, even the shortest ones, and we should decide the fanfare of the detail that should go into the planning of any life trip, no matter how tenuous.
This, then, also involves one choosing to develop the math-of-the-mouth, so that we are careful what we say to our teacher, our principal, or the Judge, because the words that come out of our mouth will be read, written, and measured by someone and later come back doubled and measured in triplicate—whether as good or bane. In these normal everyday kind of things we can see math lanes as places of choice (another math term) in which we can order our steps as we go about the game of life.
Mathing Our Self Esteem
Let's look at a school level numerical equation: 3X=85. If measuring equals X in the numerical sentence, then self-esteem (85) is >large: greater than large. Large is of course that floating constant of a passing number. So in this numerical sentence, letting X equal the 'act of measuring,' helps determine the volumes of differences after the equal sign. The meaning of the sentence could be expressed in real words such as the following: By doing the measuring process three times, we can attain the number 85, or we can get 85 somethings for our effort. In this example, we get a score or strength of 85 in our self-esteem.
Thus, the more measuring one does on the left side of the equation, the more self-esteem will reside on the other side of the equal sign.
With regard to our front three (reading, writing, and math): If one regularly practices these three essentials from the same starting line-up (number line), so to speak, then self-esteem is guaranteed to become stronger. If one were just to scan the activity alone that goes back and forth between these three bulwarks—no matter the level obtained in one’s personal math discipline—one will easily get the connection I propose about this dynamic trio.
My Mantra
For years I have said to my students:
Reading is Writing
And Writing is Mathing.
During those years, I have invited them to do a most simple test to see this statement in flow. The basic understanding I wanted them to get was: When doing math there are things encountered called numerical sentences; these are made up of numbers and symbols. The movie one might see themselves doing, then, is of reading the sentences first, followed by a PEMDAS procedure, next the evaluation, and finally the writing of the answer into one’s brain, or into the space after the equal sign on paper.
Another way one may test a simplified part of this is by thinking about how one reads a book. Basically when we read, we measure or calculate what letters are in each word (math); at the same time we write details related to these computations into the brain. So every time we read, we write. Some instances later, when we finally put these words together (math, PEMDAS), we write larger, more definitive thoughts about these word groups into ourselves...every time.
Whether we echo the words into our brain systems as we read, by mouthing them silently with our breath, or eidetically scanning them directly into our consciousness (with or without a USB connection cable), we are performing the line-item movements of the ‘front three’. These three: reading, writing and mathing, working ahead of other systems of habit (the rest of the team on the field with them), ultimately can defend the life— and win some games.

Other Examples of This Secret
(Revelation 1:3)
Blessed is he that…
Usage: happy, blessed, to be envied.
3107 makários (from mak-, "become long, large") – properly, when God extends His benefits (the advantages He confers); blessed.
3107 /makários ("blessed") describes a believer in enviable ("fortunate") position from receiving God's provisions (favor) – which (literally) extend ("make long, large") His grace (benefits). This happens with receiving (obeying) the Lord's inbirthings of faith. Hence, faith (4102 /pístis) and 3107 (makários) are closely associated (Ro 4:5-7,14:22,23; Rev 14:12,13).
Readeth….
Definition: to know certainly, know again, read
Thayer's Greek Lexicon
STRONGS NT 314: ἀναγινώσκω
ἀναγινώσκω; (imperfect ἀνεγίνωσκεν, Acts 8:28); 2 aorist ἀνέγνων (infinitive ἀναγνῶναι, Luke 4:16), participle ἀναγνούς; passive, (present ἀναγινώσκομαι); 1 aorist ἀνεγνώσθην; in secular authors.
1. to distinguish between, to recognize, to know accurately, to acknowledge; hence,
2. to read (in this significance ("first in Pindar O. 10 (11). 1") from (Aristophanes) Thucydides down): τί, Matthew 22:31; Mark 12:10; Luke 6:3; John 19:20; Acts 8:30, 32; 2 Corinthians 1:13; (Galatians 4:21 Lachmann marginal reading); Revelation 1:3; Revelation 5:4
Certainly= certain (adj.)
c. 1300, "determined, fixed," from Old French certain "reliable, sure, assured" (12c.), from Vulgar Latin *certanus, extended form of Latin certus "determined, resolved, fixed, settled," of things whose qualities are invariable, "established," also "placed beyond doubt, sure, true, proved; unerring, to be depended upon" (also source of Old French cert, Italian certo, Spanish cierto), originally a variant past participle of cernere "to distinguish, decide," literally "to sift, separate." This Latin verb comes from the PIE root *krei- "to sieve," thus "discriminate, distinguish," which is also the source of Greek krisis "turning point, judgment, result of a trial" (compare crisis).
Transferred sense, in reference to persons, "full of confidence in one's knowledge or judgment, made certain in reference to a matter or thing," from mid-14c. (also a sense in Latin). Meaning "established as true beyond doubt" in English is from c. 1400. Meaning "indefinite, not specifically named, known but not described" is from late 14c.
Etymologyonline: read (v.)
Middle English reden, ireden, "to counsel, advise," also "to read," from Old English rædan, gerædan (West Saxon), redan, geredan (Anglian) "to advise, counsel, persuade; discuss, deliberate; rule, guide; arrange, equip; forebode; to read (observe and apprehend the meaning of something written), utter aloud (words, letters, etc.); to explain; to learn through reading; to put in order."
anagignosko
ἀνέγνωτε [4 verses] (2nd pl aor ind act) "Ye read" is anagignôskô, which means to "know well," "know certainly," "perceive," "attend lectures on," "acknowledge," "recognize," "induce" one to do a thing, "persuade," "convince," of books. "read aloud," "published," in the passive, "to be persuaded" to do a thing, and, as a noun, "students" (those who attend lectures). - "Ye...read" is a Greek verb that means "to know well," "to acknowledge," "to persuade," and "to recognize." It doesn't "read" in the normal sense, Christ uses a different Greek word to mean "read," but this one can mean "to read aloud" or "to attend a lecture." This perhaps refers to the Jewish practice of reading the scriptures at meetings.
NIDNTT explains that originally anaginosko:
had only an intensive or restrictive force, to know exactly, or know again, acknowledge. Then it came to mean generally read, read aloud. There is no essential difference, for in the classical world anyone reading for himself alone always did so aloud. In legal orations anaginosko was frequently used as a call to the court secretary, whose duty it was to read the documents in the case. (Brown, Colin, Editor. New International Dictionary of NT Theology. 1986. Zondervan)
Hearing the words…
Matthew 17:5 “…Listen to Him.” Hear him. (Obey)

Keep the things written in it…
5083 tēréō (from tēros, "a guard") – properly, maintain (preserve); (figuratively) spiritually guard (watch), keep intact.
Observe = observe (v.)
late 14c., observen, "to hold to (a manner of life or course of conduct), carry out the dictates of, attend to in practice, to keep, follow," from Old French observer, osserver "to observe, watch over, follow" (10c.), from Latin observare "watch over, note, heed, look to, attend to, guard, regard, comply with," from ob "in front of, before" (see ob-) + servare "to watch, keep safe," from PIE root *ser- (1) "to protect." Sense of "watch, perceive, notice" is from 1560s, via the notion of "see and note omens." Meaning "to say by way of remark" is from c. 1600. Related: Observed; observing.
Promise = prophecy
promise (n.)
c. 1400, promisse, "a solemn pledge; a vow; a declaration in reference to the future made by one person to another, assuring the latter that the former will do, or not do, a specified act," from Old French promesse "promise, guarantee, assurance" (13c.) and directly from Latin promissum "a promise," noun use of neuter past participle of promittere "send forth; let go; foretell; assure beforehand, promise," from pro "before" (from PIE root *per- (1) "forward," hence "in front of, before") + mittere "to release, let go; send, throw" (see mission).
Certainly= certain (adj.)
(Obey)
Thayers Lexicon:
to yield to, hear and obey, hear to one, (German auf einen horen): Matthew 17:5 (Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35); John 3:29; John 10:8; Acts 3:22; Acts 4:19; Acts 7:37
Keep the things written in it…
5083 tēréō (from tēros, "a guard") – properly, maintain (preserve); (figuratively) spiritually guard (watch), keep intact.
Observe = observe (v.)
late 14c., observen, "to hold to (a manner of life or course of conduct), carry out the dictates of, attend to in practice, to keep, follow," from Old French observer, osserver "to observe, watch over, follow" (10c.), from Latin observare "watch over, note, heed, look to, attend to, guard, regard, comply with," from ob "in front of, before" (see ob-) + servare "to watch, keep safe," from PIE root *ser- (1) "to protect." Sense of "watch, perceive, notice" is from 1560s, via the notion of "see and note omens." Meaning "to say by way of remark" is from c. 1600. Related: Observed; observing.
Promise = prophecy
promise (n.)

Genesis 1:1... God 'read' the cosmos, documented it, and measured it. An example of reading, mathing and writing. He created, paused, 'read' and then pronounced it good and very good. In that reading of it, he measured everything in it, then wrote it down...and we have those words today. And we do likewise every time we really 'read' a thing.
We gave another example of Reading, Writing, Math: like the trinity, you cannot have a relationship with one without a relationship with the other. With each person you will read, write, and math with them. Likewise these three are in one accord with this reading is mathing is writing concept.
Object lesson: the sticky tape. The thought that the meanings of a word are the most important part of the word. The sticky part of the tape is what makes the tape stick to the wall. Like wise, the meanings of words helps one remember the word; it stays longer in the mind. Additionally, if one knows the meaning of a word one can perform it more accurately: like a job description, etc.
When youth come to us, if we give them the meanings of words that are applicable to the relationship at hand, i.e. parent-child, the answers with their meanings (glue) will have a tendency to stick.
Pastor Brent once said in my hearing some years ago: I may say something and it may or may not stick in a youth's mind, but the scriptures always stick.
Every word in the universe is connected to every other word in the universe. Scientist say: that every particle, atom, etc. attracts (applies, sticks) to every other particle, etc. even those at the far end of the universe.
John's question: A guardian ad litem (GAL) is an individual appointed by the court to represent the best interests of a child or incapacitated person involved in a case in superior court.
Examples of how Rules, ReCon, and Recognitions of another's face...
One of the highest examples of 'read': "They held converse with leaf and flower and tree, gathering from each the secrets of its life. With every living creature, from the mighty leviathan that playeth among the waters to the insect mote that floats in the sunbeam, Adam was familiar. He had given to each its name, and he was acquainted with the nature and habits of all. --The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 1:1084.

Class No. 1 - August 6th Class
Part A
Paperwork: Your Name – I Am
Part B
Online etymology comparison. Why you get more history about the word at one glance from using www.etymologyonline.com.
Part C
Two major subjects we will cover in each class session:
The Secret: What is its identity, what are its words. What do the words mean from the bible and from the dictionaries.
The Secret’s application: Answer to the question you most assuredly will ask: where do I start using the secret?
Let’s start with apply= ap- means toward, to and in in some cases. ply= to fold, attach to.
Application of the secret will be the most precarious aspect because each of you will be applying a secret to ‘people-interactions’ that will greatly vary. None of your interactions with persons, employees, daughters, sons, grandsons will be exactly like my own, or anyone else’s.
Application illustrated: Here is what I call the three book example: The theological Greek/Hebrew book, the book about how to write, and the recent book on the church. The theological book is about 100 years old…more. The book about writing around 1957 –ish. The church book’s copyright was 2006. Each book varied in character, subject, content, age, fragileness, color, etc.. To apply another ‘page secret’ to each one requires that we look at and do math with all the variables in order to get the best results out of the secret.
A child knows the meanings of a few words as compared with each of you here who are all nearly 70 years and full of wisdom that the child will not have during the same time that you are relating to them. The secret you are applying will demand great care, and much ‘time after time’ of longsuffering love.
Part D
Why 30 minutes works. You are what is called a warm market; you are not third graders, and you are a 70 year old Christian and wise—so a hint and a hunger should be sufficient.
Part E
Webpage of the class: www.Class of Secrets.weebly.com Password: secret.
The webpage will contain only two pages. The home page will provide all the notes from the previous weekly 30 minute class. What was covered, essential changes in dates, times and the next class, etc. The addendums page (AT3) (if you're on cellphone click here for addendums page) will give further details I have thought of that may be necessary regarding the secret, or details that came up in the questions asked after the end of each class. The addendums page will be passworded, the home page will not.
The password will change every two weeks. Class members may freely share and give out any of my numbers, passwords, or emails provided during the length of the class to others who may want to communicate with me, or have questions about the secrets.
Part F
What evening would you all like to meet; or is the Sabbath okay? It was decided by general consensus that when there is no potluck, we will meet in the board room after services for the class. On days when there is a potluck, we have decided to meet after the potluck. The where of that meeting will be decided through discussion with the pastor and the teacher, and then announced.
Questions, Addendums, or Other Credits
Following are just a few of the 25 highlights, notes and other questions that went through the white board after our last meeting. As promised, these will be found in their appropriate length and detail on the Addendums Page. Remember: this page will be Passworded.
